Little voice inside my head,
Angel on my shoulder
I wish that I could hear you well
I wish that you were bolder
Struggle as I walk the line
Wanting to be better
If only I was brave enough
To do things to the letter
How quietly you guide my hand
how subtle; gentle and pure
and yet your strength’s omnipotent
this I know for sure
Vision in my darkness,
Light to guide the way
I was hoping you would carry me
But you gave me wings today
